Dimout materials are special fabrics that can reduce light transmission by up to 70-90%. These fabrics usually consist of three layers woven on a thick black warp, which allows them to effectively block out most of the light. Dimout curtains are ideal for spaces where significant dimming of light is desired, but not complete blackout, such as bedrooms, living areas or offices.

Blackout materials provide 100% Blackout, making them ideal for use in bedrooms or areas requiring complete darkness such as projection rooms. The Blackout materials manufacturing process, developed by Rockland Industries in Baltimore, not only provides effective light blocking, but also improved insulation and sound-absorbing properties due to the density and opacity of the material.

Decorative materials are primarily intended for aesthetic purposes, these fabrics transmit light without a blackout effect. They include a wide range of fabrics, from fine transparent textiles to luxurious velvets to shiny satins.
